?Gyan Thread! A little bit of Design and Philosophy ? What I learned from working as a Product Designer for 3 years at a startup, huge MNC + YouTubing + Mentoring + Freelancing. Gonna share my biggest secret to success at the end ? Here we go ?

? If you don't fight for what you want, then don't cry for what you lost! Could be followers, a job at your favorite company, salary hikes, or even an appreciation from someone you look up to.

? When given a choice, pick people/team over money or company. The best decision I ever took in my career was to join Unacademy because of the Design Team even though my salary was not the best. (My fault. I didn't negotiate ?)

? Wanna be the best? Then learn from the best. Surround yourself with the best people you know and grow the circle. You decide who is the best for you. There isn't a list of the best people available. You need to make one.

? Focus on learning the skills first rather than creating educational content for others. I see a lot of folks spending a lot of time creating so much content when they themselves have too much to learn. The time for you to teach will come. Sit tight ?

? Small wins compound to monumental achievements. It's up to you to decide what your wins should be. Each win adds to your self confidence, which adds to your motivation, which adds to your ability to work hard, which makes you unstoppable.

? Dont lose your momentum. Be consistent in having those small wins. If you lose your momentum, you have to start from the last checkpoint. And since it takes time to come back to form, people tend to lose interest to start over again.

⏳ The only thing between you and success is you spending time on things that don't matter. The first few years of your career are the most important. Use time wisely on things that actually add to your growth. Become a master at prioritizing tasks.

? Take every opportunity to help someone. If you wanna grow, you gotta help someone else grow. That’s how the game works. A wise man once said ‘I saw that.' Oh sorry. It was Karma who said that.

? Understand yourself. What drives you? What do you really want in life? What are you good at and bad at? Understand the user and define the problem statement if you want to solve any problem.

? Shit happens! Even the worst of the worst scenario can happen to you. Take the opportunity to learn from that. It can be your mistake or your bad luck. It’s all about how you deal with it when it happens. Approach it like you would approach a design problem.

? Want to stand out? Then you actually need to stand out. Stop trying to blindly follow everyone’s footsteps. Observe what others are doing and see how you can be different. Try not just to be different. But try to be as different as you can.

⚡️ Want to grow faster? Don’t expect people to tell you what to do. Be proactive. If you are a person who always has to be told what to do and how to do it, then you’re no good. You’re wasting your time and everyone else’s time.

? You gotta figure out a lot of things on your own. This industry is not for those who want to be spoon-fed. There is a lot of figuring stuff out that needs to happen. If you want to know something don’t stop until you find what you want.

? There will be times where you will have to sacrifice. You will have to let some things go no matter what. But here’s a secret: It's not lost forever. You will get it back later on in your life. Just have to be patient.

And finally, my biggest secret that has helped me achieve plenty of things in 3 years!

? Wanna manage a ton of things without losing your mind? Make everything you do into a habit. Set up a system and follow it religiously. Maintain the momentum. Be consistent. Train your brain to make your body and mind run on Auto-Pilot. See what I did there? ?
